At Friends of Grand County Children’s Justice Center, our mission is to combat child abuse by providing a safe space for forensic interviews, medical care, and counseling. We strive to advocate for justice, empower young survivors, and ensure a supportive environment for their recovery.

Family Justice Center
The Family Justice Center helps victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault access critical services in one safe, welcoming place. We provide crisis support, legal help, and guidance to empower healing.
In partnership with Friends of the Grand County Children’s Justice Center, we fund therapy, advocacy, and essential needs, ensuring every child has a safe space to heal and thrive.

Therapy Services
Healing minds. Restoring hope.
We provide individual and group therapy sessions led by master’s-level therapists and supervised interns. These sessions are customized to meet the unique emotional and developmental needs of each child or family member. Generous community support allows us to offer these services at no cost to victims, helping transform trauma into resilience.

Forensic Interviews & Medical Exams
Sensitive care. Professional support.
Forensic interviews are conducted in a child-friendly environment by trained professionals who help children safely share their experiences. When needed, specialized medical exams are provided to assess and document evidence of abuse, while always prioritizing the child’s comfort and well-being.
